New Seacoast Challenge on Tap for ACT Late Models in 2026 at Lee USA and Star Speedways
Lee, NH & Epping, NH— A new twist has been added into the 2026 Southern New Hampshire racing schedule! Two previously announced 100-lap events for ACT Late Models at Lee USA Speedway have been joined with two 100-lap events at Star Speedway to create a new Seacoast Late Model Challenge with each event featuring a $1,500 to win purse plus a $2,000 championship point fund for the top-three point chasers at season’s end!
With the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour joining forces with the Pro All Stars Series to promote events at Lee USA Speedway in 2026, the ACT Late Models are set to race at the iconic 3/8-mile several times this season. With nearby Star Speedway having hosted ACT Late Models as a track championship division over the past several years, it came without surprise that the Seacoast Challenge could be possible!
It all starts on Saturday, June 13th with a 100-lap affair at Star Speedway followed quickly with the Late Model 100 at Lee on Friday, June 19th. A short break brings the ACT Late Models back to Lee USA Speedway for the Firecracker 100 on Friday, July 3rd while the Seacoast Challenge champion is crowned at Star with the Don Francis Memorial 100 on Saturday, August 15th. All four events are scheduled for open weekends not already filled by Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour dates.
“It was a no-brainer for us,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “We wanted to give teams an opportunity to race a few times at Lee and adding in this Challenge with Star Speedway gives drivers the chance to chase some money at two fun tracks in Southern New Hampshire.”
“Working together with ACT, PASS and Lee USA is a win-win for both the tracks and racers,” said Star Speedway owner Bobby Webber. “It shows unity between the facilities and gives racers a chance to race some extra distance, extra money races during the season.”
For the complete schedule and updates throughout the winter, visit www.leespeedway.com for more information as it’s available. The ACT and PASS organizations will host an informational meeting for teams interested in racing at Lee USA Speedway on Wednesday, January 21st at American Legion Post #69 in Somersworth, New Hampshire starting at 6:00pm. While not a rules meeting, the sanctioning bodies encourage interested teams to join in, ask questions and plan their seasons.
