Championship Night Wraps Up the 2025 Season at Lee
Lee, NH — The 2025 racing season came to a dramatic close Friday night at Lee USA Speedway with Crowning of Champions Night, a packed program that featured thrilling feature events across all weekly divisions and the awarding of track championships. Fans filled the stands for one last summer night of high-octane racing, school bus mayhem, and celebrations as the New Hampshire Center of Speed wrapped up its 2025 campaign in style.
The Super Streets closed their season with a hard-fought 25-lap feature that saw Justin Beecher of Billerica, MA hold off a charging Cam Huntress of Rochester, NH for the win. Milton Duran and Mike Williams rounded out the podium, while Donald Belisle was disqualified in post-race tech.
Beecher’s victory was crucial — he entered the night just 2 points behind Huntress and secured the 2025 Super Street Track Championship by a razor-thin 4-point margin (448 to 444). Belisle’s strong season held him in third overall, while Duran and Patrick Tanguay tied for fourth, capping off an intensely competitive year.
The Ridge Runners put on another crowd-pleaser with Zacary Fraser of Nottingham, NH charging from eighth to first to win the 20-lap season finale. Gage Osborne and Brian Caswell completed the podium, but Caswell’s consistency throughout the season paid off as he secured the 2025 Ridge Runner Championship by just 8 points over Fraser. Stone Slattery, the division’s rookie standout, finished third in points after a strong inaugural campaign. The youngster was out front early with the championship in hand when car failure would end his night early.
The Six Shooters delivered drama with Adam Knowles of Seabrook, NH breaking through for the feature win following post race tech. Michael Casey and Randy Washburn followed closely behind. Michael Yeaton, Steve Miller and Steve Miller Jr all failed post race inspectio. Despite the DQ, Yeaton’s dominant season gave him enough of a cushion to lock up the 2025 Six Shooter Track Championship, finishing 16 points ahead of Casey in the final standings.
The Crown Vic division closed their season with an intense 20-lap feature that saw Austin Erickson of Ashland, MA take the win ahead of Keith Walton and Josh Valliere. Jacob Michaud finished fourth but it was enough to secure the 2025 Crown Vic Track Championship, ending the season 68 points ahead of Valliere. Michaud’s consistency across the summer was unmatched, delivering him the crown.
The Pro Stock 60-lap feature capped the night, and it was all about Jimmy Renfrew Jr. of Candia, NH. Renfrew not only won the race but also locked up the 2025 Pro Stock Track Championship, besting Nicholas Cusack by just 4 points. Dave Farrington Jr., who finished third both in the race and in the standings, made the title battle exciting right to the final laps.
As always, the school bus race brought the house down, closing the night with crashes, spins, and wild cheers from fans of all ages. The fan-favorite event was the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable season at Lee USA Speedway.
