Mike Ordway Jr. Shines in Ollie Silva Mid-Summer Classic at Lee USA Speedway

Lee, NH - 8/16/25 – The Center of Speed roared to life on Advance Auto Parts Night as fans packed the grandstands for one of the crown jewels of the summer, the Ollie Silva Mid-Summer Classic. The annual tradition honoring one of Supermodified racing’s true legends brought thrilling action across all divisions, capped off by a dominating performance in the ISMA-MSS Supermodifieds.

In front of an electric Lee USA Speedway crowd, Mike Ordway Jr. (#61) stormed to victory in the 75-lap Ollie Silva Mid-Summer Classic. Ordway, whose family has deep roots at the track, held off Tyler Shullick (#96) and Jeffrey Battle (#14) in a race that featured blistering speeds and razor-thin margins. Ordway clocked the fastest lap of the night at 13.418 seconds, showcasing the unmatched speed of the Supers as they split the air and thrilled fans with their trademark vapor trails. Mark Sammut (#78) and Kyle Edwards (#E11) completed the top five in a race that honored Ollie Silva’s enduring legacy.

The Super Streets 25-lap feature produced its own action. On-track, Justin Beecher (#57) of Billerica, MA crossed the line first after a hard-fought battle with Milton Duran (#12) and Jason Curtis (#02). However, following post-race inspection, both Duran and Curtis were disqualified for failing tech, elevating Cam Huntress (#42) to the runner-up spot and Patrick Tanguay (#79) to third. The division’s tribute to Silva included cone restarts and plenty of side-by-side racing, giving the fans a show to remember.

The Ridge Runners 20-lap feature saw Gage Osborne (#55) of Plaistow, NH capture the checkered flag after leading wire-to-wire. Maggie Clark (#27) and Kameron Weir (#66) followed closely in second and third, while Brian Caswell (#47) and Callie Osborne (#77) rounded out the top five. The Ridge Runners once again proved to be one of Lee’s most competitive weekly divisions, mixing veterans with up-and-coming talent.

In the Crown Vic 20-lap feature, Jacob Michaud (#23) of Lebanon, ME scored another win, besting Adam Lovejoy (#83) and Traver Michaud (#28) in a family affair at the front of the pack. Anthony Garland (#81) and David Cameron (#50) rounded out the top five after a heated battle. The division, known for its affordability and door-to-door action, once again brought the crowd to its feet with three-wide racing and classic short track bumping.

Advance Auto Parts Night and the Ollie Silva Mid-Summer Classic brought together the speed, history, and excitement that defines Lee USA Speedway. From honoring Ollie Silva’s legacy with the Supers, to the grassroots battles in the weekly divisions, it was a night that fans will remember all season long.
