Uncle Sam Slam Fireworks Night Lights Up Lee USA Speedway

6/28/25 | Lee, NH - A packed house filled Lee USA Speedway on Friday night for the annual Uncle Sam Slam Fireworks Night, and the stars on the track shined just as bright as the fireworks that capped off the evening. With thrilling battles across all divisions, fans were treated to a night of short track racing excitement mixed with patriotic celebration.

Milton Duran of Londonderry, NH made it a night to remember in the Super Streets, scoring both the heat race and the 20-lap feature victory. Duran started from the pole in the main event and never looked back, holding off Andrew Morin of Nashua, NH who grabbed a strong runner-up finish. Justin Beecher of Billerica, MA powered his way to third, while Cam Huntress of Rochester, NH and Mike Williams of Franklin, NH rounded out the top five.

The Ridge Runners produced one of the most competitive features of the season as Stone Slattery of Pelham, NH stormed from deep in the field to claim the 30-lap A Feature win. Slattery started ninth and charged forward, besting Dwight Souther Jr. of Seabrook, NH and Zacary Fraser of Nottingham, NH who completed the podium. Veteran Brian Caswell of Buxton, ME ran steady to take fourth, while Jessica Bosowski of Hudson, NH brought home an impressive top-five finish in her return to competition. Heat races went to Derek McKeen of Hiram, ME and Slattery, setting the stage for the feature’s fireworks on track.

In the O’Reilly Auto Parts Six Shooters, Steve Miller Jr. of Grantham, NH once again proved why he’s one of the toughest to beat. Miller Jr. captured the 20-lap feature, edging out Michael Yeaton of Amherst, NH in a spirited duel. Steve Miller of Grantham, NH brought the family name to third place, while Randy Washburn of Rochester, NH and Michael Casey of Pittsfield, NH completed the top five. Earlier in the evening, Steve Miller earned the heat race win, but it was Miller Jr. who stood tall in the feature.

The MLM Diagnostics Services Crown Vics saw Ben Bosowski of Hudson, NH score a popular feature victory, charging from ninth on the grid to first by the checkered flag. Jacob Michaud of Lebanon, ME finished second, followed by Traver Michaud in third. Austin Erickson of Ashland, MA and Zachary Davis of Lebanon, ME completed the top five. Heat races went to Austin Erickson and Keith Walton, but it was Bosowski’s night to shine when it mattered most.

The night’s headline event, the 60-lap Pro Stock feature, was dominated by none other than Jimmy Renfrew Jr. of Candia, NH. Renfrew, who has been on an absolute tear across New England, kept the momentum rolling by fending off Maine’s Cole Robie and Dave Farrington Jr. in a hard-fought battle. Corey Bubar of Windham, ME and Nicholas Cusack of Scarborough, ME rounded out the top five, with Renfrew making it clear he is the man to beat this season at Lee.

Fans enjoyed not only the fireworks on the racetrack, but also the dazzling display that capped off the evening as part of the Uncle Sam Slam tradition. With close finishes, bold moves, and plenty of drama, it was a night that lived up to its name in front of one of the biggest crowds of the summer.
