Lee USA Speedway Hosts BRMS Night at the Races

Lee, NH - 6/21/25 – A packed crowd turned out Friday night at Lee USA Speedway for BRMS Night at the Races, and they were treated to an exciting slate of action across four divisions: Super Streets, Ridge Runners, Pro Stocks, and Mighty Trucks (with a Beetle Bug twist).

The 50-lap Summer Six Pack Super Streets main event was a show of endurance and consistency, with Matt Sonnhalter (VT33) of White River Junction, VT prevailing at the end of a long green-flag stretch. Sonnhalter charged from the middle of the pack and fought off a determined run from Corey Fanning (Mapleville, RI), who crossed the line second after climbing five positions. Rochester’s Cam Huntress (42) completed the podium in third, while Donald Belisle (7) of Merrimack and Chris Riendeau (VT4) of Ascutney, VT rounded out the top five. Heat race victories went to Milton Duran (12) and Huntress (42), but neither could hold off Sonnhalter when it mattered most.

The Ridge Runner division produced one of the most action-packed features of the night, with Gage Osborne (55) of Plaistow, NH leading the way to a dominant victory. Osborne set the pace early and never faltered over 20 laps. Behind him, Zacary Fraser (37Z) of Nottingham, NH charged forward seven spots to claim second, followed by Callie Osborne (77) of Hudson, NH in third. Stone Slattery (99) of Pelham impressed with an eight-position climb to finish fourth, and Dwight Souther Jr. (23) of Seabrook, NH capped the top five. Heat race wins went to Gage Osborne (55) and Brian Caswell (47).

The headline Pro Stock 60-lap feature saw Jimmy Renfrew Jr. (00) of Candia, NH drive a flawless race, holding off some of the region’s top talent for the checkered flag. Nicholas Cusack (2) of Scarborough, ME, who earlier set fast time in qualifying at 14.981 seconds, settled for second after starting on pole. Casey Call (90) of Pembroke, NH crossed the line third, followed by Dave Farrington Jr. (23) of Sabattus, ME and Ryan Green (93) of Berwick, ME. Rounding out the top ten were Bobby Baillargeon (82), Cole Robie (29), Corey Bubar (12X), Connor McDougal (8), and Frankie Eldredge (09).

The Mighty Trucks capped off the evening with a thrilling 20-lap shootout. Shane Webber (7) of New Vineyard, ME – one of the only Beetle Bugs in attendance – joined the field and ran head-to-head with the trucks while being scored separately. Webber proved he could more than hold his own, taking the overall race win in convincing style. Among the trucks, Kyle Chandler (27) of North Berwick, ME crossed the line second overall (first truck), with Kristopher Knox (0) of Sanford, ME, Matthew Mains (88) of Kennebunk, ME, Ryan Turcotte (30) of Lebanon, ME, and Aaron Chandler (74) of Gray, ME completing the order.

Heat race wins went to Milton Duran (Super Streets), Cam Huntress (Super Streets), Gage Osborne (Ridge Runners), Brian Caswell (Ridge Runners), and Shane Webber (Trucks/Bugs).
